The paper presents the results of amount of arsenic deposition in the organs (liver, kidneys,
testes, brain) of male mice. The concentration of arsenic used in the experiment is equivalent to
the concentration of arsenic present in the water supply network of the Municipality of Zrenjanin,
which was projected from human values on mice (10.6 mg / L). The amount of arsenic deposited
in the organs of male mice was monitored in the experimental group for three consecutive
generations. Measurement of arsenic in the organs of mice through three consecutive generations
was done to determine changes in the amount of arsenic deposited in the organs.
The results indicate that arsenic is deposited in the organs and that the amount of arsenic does
not decrease over the generations.
No pathological changes have been registered on the external and internal structure of the
body, but that does not mean that due to the cumulative effect of arsenic, the symptoms of chronic
poisoning will not manifest during later life.
