Strains S. pseudintermedius isolated from different skin infections from dogs in Serbia were tested for their suscep tibility/resistance to clinically utilized antibiotics and for biofilm formation ability. Strains were multiresistant and in three strains methicillin resistance phenotype was detected. S. pseudintermedius were at the same time resistant to treatment with bacteriocins-enterocins and they were biofilm-forming (except SPs4 strain). Because increasing antimicrobial substances resistance in S. pseudintermedius strains is clinically important problem, it is necessary to find alternatives to eliminate these strains and to look for way which could help to cure skin lesions. This has been expected by veterinares and dogs owners as well. Testing of others bacteriocins against those type of strains is in processing.en_US
